 Con mucha ilusión y con el poco tiempo libre que disponemos nos hemos embarcado en una complicada aventura: Escribir un libro infantil integrando el texto con las ilustraciones. Humor, magia y acertijos son los ingredientes con los que la estamos cocinado. Para eso nos hemos juntado, Ángel como escritor y yo, como ilustrador. Nos queda mucho camino por hacer pero poco a poco va saliendo. Iré colgando ilustraciones hasta que tengamos material para crear una página propia.


 With great enthusiasm and with little free time we have embarked on a complicated affair: Write a children's book mixing the text with the illustrations. Humor, magic and puzzles are the ingredients that we're using to writting it. For that work we have come together, Angel as a writer and I, as an illustrator. We have a long way to go but slowly we're going ahead. I'll post artwork until we have material to create a web page.

pencil with some color/ lápiz con algo de color

 Aquí dejo un boceto de al cual le he aplicado un poco de color en los ojos. Está incluido en un cuadernillo que está en proceso de revisión y que colgaré la semana que viene si no pasa nada.

 Here it is a sketch of a woman which I've applied a little color in his eyes. It is included in a booklet is being revised and I'll post next week if ther are not problem.

Aquí dejo un vídeo completo de proceso de dibujo de un ojo. El vídeo dura 16 minutos. La calidad no es espectacular pero suficiente para ver todo el proceso.

 Aquí dejo un par de dibujos de ojos que hice hace unos días y que los tenía guardados en la carpeta. Grabé uno de ellos en video el cual tengo que colgar un día de estos.

 Here I leave a couple of drawings of eyes that did a few days ago. I recorded one video with the proccess which I have to put in the blog.

Por fin he terminado el dibujo que dejé apartado mas de un año. Es de los mas grandes que he hecho y me he dado cuenta que me gusta dibujar cosas grandes aunque luego no sepa que hacer con ellas. Es de un metro por 40 cms aprox.

I finished this drawing who was saved in my folder for a long year. It's the biggest I've done and I realized that I like to draw great drawings but then I don't know what to do with them. Is one meter long by 40 cm hight approx.

tear- lágrima - dibujo de ojo a lápiz

 En este dibujo me encontré con el problema que si quería resaltar mas la lágrima tenía que dibujar la mejilla. De ese modo podría resaltar los brillos pero creí que era mejor centrarme en el ojo y en la gota final y solo insinuar el recorrido de la misma. De vez en cuando hay que dejar zonas sin dibujar para resaltar lo que realmente importa.

 In this drawing I had a problem. I wanted to emphasize the tear but for that I had to shadow the cheek thus I may highlight the brightness but I thought it was better to focus on the eye and the final drop and only hint the path of it. Sometimes is better left without drawing some areas to highlight others parts of the drawing.

Portrair of Blanca / Retrato de Blanca

Aquí dejo el retrato que me pidió Blanca (muchas gracias) con el que disfruté sobre todo dibujando los ojos, por supuesto y el pelo con sus sombras, completamente negras y los brillos que le dan tanta vida.

Here It is the portrait of Blanca ordered me (thank you so much). I especially enjoyed drawing the eyes (of course) and hair course with their shadows, completely black and flare that give it so much life.

New shop / nueva tienda

Acabo de publicar un nueva tienda con una muestra del trabajo que hago y el que puedo hacer. Está pensado para encargos y no para vender lo ya hecho. Supongo que con el tiempo la iré puliendo hasta darla por definitiva.

 I just published a new store with a sample of work I do and I can do. It is intended only for request not to sell what has been done. I guess over time I'll take it for final polishing up.
