comic style / estilo comic

Quería hacer un dibujo tipo comic jugando con las sombras y así es como me ha quedado.
No es un resultado espectacular teniendo en cuenta que me llevó mas tiempo que muchos otros. Creo que para este tipo de dibujos debo aprender a simplificar.


I wanted to make a drawing comic type playing with the shadows and that it is.
It isn't a spectacular result considering that it took me longer than most. I think for this kind of drawings I must learn to simplify.

Dibujo hecho en papel A4. También lo he escaneado varias veces para montar un video en cuanto tenga un rato.

big eyes / ojos grandes

Me doy cuenta que cuando ves el dibujo en pantalla, es decir que con un solo vistazo puedes verlo todo, notas errores que no ves cuando te fijas en el original. En este caso me gustaba el dibujo hasta que lo he escaneado.

redhead girl / chica pelirroja

Unas entradas atrás comenté que quería probar con un color de pelo diferente así que he dibujado una pelirroja. Me gusta como ha quedado el color del pelo aunque creo que si tengo un rato retocaré el volumen del mismo.


A few post back I told that I wanted to try a different hair color so I've drawn a redhead girl. I like the final result but I think if I have time I'll change the shape of it.

con un lápiz y un escaner

Es un método sencillo pero efectivo. He escaneado el dibujo unas ocho veces durante el proceso de dibujo y los he montado con un programa gratuito (photostage slideshow) y este es es el resultado. Se puede ver claramente del proceso de dibujo desde las primeras lineas hasta el sombreado final de la ropa.

It's a simple but effective method of showing the process of drawing.
I scanned the drawing about eight times during the process of drawing and I've ridden them with a free program (PhotoStage slideshow) and this is the result. You can clearly see the process of drawing from the first lines to the final shade of clothing.

He probado a hacer un dibujo de una chica rubia para ver como trabajar con las luces y las sombras y este es el resultado. Sinceramente es mas fácil el pelo negro para dibujar con lápiz.
Esté hecho en un papel canson A3 (42x29 cm aprox)

Me apetece mezclar un poco las técnicas así que he empezado por este dibujo. La parte de color la he hecho con acuarela como base terminada con lápices pastel. Los colores pastel me permiten añadir un poco de detalle que no me permite la acuarela. Entiendo que me falta práctica y entiendo que no todos los dibujos se pueden hacer con esta técnica mixta pero creo que se pueden obtener buenos resultados.


I wanted to mix some techniques so I started with this drawing. The colored part I've done at first with watercolor and pencils pastel. The pastel colors allow me to add little details that will not let me watercolor. I understand that I need practice and not all drawings can be done with this mixed technique but I think I can get good results.
